Had a balcony too which was a great touch. Restaurants right down stairs, got our bus from the restaurant next door, to sapa which was really convenient. (Although not sure if I recommend that one as it looks 10 hours rather than the 5 it should have taken.) But really convenient place, bit of a walk to A1 and the museum but not too far if you're a strong walker.
