This Hostel is a great place to go before the Ha Giang Loop adventure. They have everything you need. They pick you up from the bus station, and you can rent scooters at a great cost ad they give you maps and tell you all the great things to do on the loop. They even have free storage lockers for your luggage while you are on the loop. When we got back from the loop, they booked our bus tickets back to Hanoi, we chilled at the hostel, took showers and ordered food, and chilled until our bus. This HOstel is great if you are doing the Loop!

the family that runs this place is amazing. we arrived at 4am (earlier than expected) and the husband came to let us in and gave us a room. we hadn’t planned our motorbike tour but Huong, the wife told us how to break up our trip given our timeframe and where to stay along the way. upon our return of the Ha Giang loop before catching our bus we were invited to their family dinner and watched the Vietnamese soccer game. the family and friends at the dinner were so nice and hospitable, we felt like family

I stayed at donkey hostel about a week. The staff was super nice, the breakfast is amazing. I specially loved the plating haha! On my last day the owner took me on a day trip around Ha Giang to some villages on the mountains. It was amazing. This hostel is smaller than many others so you have more a home feeling, it's more quiet and you can do the loop with them in a smaller group..also the price of their tour is more reasonable than in other places. I wished I had done the tour with them as well.

Our stay at the Silk River was very pleasant, especially the staff who were highly qualified.. We would like to thank the manager Quang who helped us in so many ways, as much as for the booking of the room as for a last minute change of bedroom at our arrival, but also for booking us bus tickets in advance of our arrival through the phone. He was very kind, accommodating and overall very professional, he made our day ! We surely recommend for people to have a stay at this hotel whilst in Ha Giang.

The Ethnic House Lounge Hostel is located centrally in Dong Van just opposite the Old Market Place. The dorms are super comfy, nicely decorated and I really enjoyed my stay there. In addition, the restaurant serves yummy food with plenty of vegetarian options, which was just great for me. While the hostel and restaurant is very busy in the evening with the big groups of travellers on the Ha Giang Motorcycle Loop, they still had space for me, not on a motorbike but hiking, at short notice.

We've had an amazing experience with Lotus Hostel! They arranged the Ha Giang Loop for us, with very experienced drivers and an amazing tour guide (Tony), who took great care of us during the trip. The groups are smaller compared to other tours, which makes the experience much nicer. We stayed at the hostel the night we arrived and the night after the tour ended. Great value for money and everyone is super nice and helpful. Highly recommended!

Aine, Wahnna and Rosie couldn't have done enough to make my experience any better doing the Ha Giang loop. They really care about each and every guest unlike other hostel groups offering this tour. Big shout out to our group leader Kevin who is just amazing at what he does - he really deserves all the respect and thanks for keeping us safe all weekend and looking out for us! I forgot my headphone in one of the dorm at Majestic Hostel and the intern was so kind to help me find it. But when I came back from the Ha Giang Loop, I saw him politely ask one girl that stayed in my bed before, Her name was Solene she was super rude about the whole situation and was giving him like side eye, SHE JUST NOT A NICE PERSON and I feel bad for the guy. Other than that 10/10 Hostel and Breakfast

Everything was amazing: the staff, the place, the good !!! I highly recommend this place. We stay here one night before to do the ha giang loop and for me it was the best night in Vietnam. We ate a delicious food, people working there are so kind, the place is beautiful and very quiet. They rent us a motorbike and kept our luggage safe. Dont hesitate to book your night there!

Wonderful stay with Hiem and her family! They built their bamboo house in a quiet place just outside Ha Giang and the rooms are cozy and clean with a beautiful view. We had the best dinners there with the whole family, excellent homemade Vietnamese food (a lot of local liquor aka "happy water") and a great time sharing experiences :) We really hope to come back soon!

The accommodation is fine. The room is large and clean but the door isn’t soundproof so it can get a bit noisy. The real highlight is Mr. Tom. He is incredibly helpful and had lots of very useful advice for the Ha Giang loop and we rented a basically brand new motorbike from him. We left our bags at the Hostel for 4 days and they helped us arrange transportation back to Hanoi.

The owners are so welcoming and friendly. The farm is exactly what we were looking for - quiet and surrounded by nature. We also did a private ha Giang loop tour with Te. It was a definitely better value than doing the group tour with some of the hostels in town. Overall very happy with our stay and would definitely come back if I visit ha Giang again.

Great location with beautiful views. The place is well kept and the breakfast was the best we had in all Vietnam. Also, I suggest you try the pizza at the restaurant (I'm from Italy and LOVED it). The owner was extremely helpful in organising private tours of Ha Giang with our limited time, but be careful with pricing, the lady is a hustler ;)

I had one good night in the hostel and three fantastic days during the Ha Giang Loop tourguide! Wonderfull trip and I enjoyed it very much, I will recommend it to everybody who wants to experience the Ha Giang to do it with HG Hostel and Motorbike; everything was perfect arranged also the Homestays on the trip were very kind! I’d loved it!

The staff are lovely, the food is authentic local Vietnamese, and the place is spotless. The Palm is one of the nicest places I’ve stayed. Sure, it’s a bit out of town, but that's a good thing, as Ha Giang City isn’t why you make the journey. It’s for the views and the escape! My wife and two children stayed five nights.

We stayed for one night before starting the Ha Giang Loop, and it was a very nice and quiet stay. The Hostel is very close to several motorbike rental places and restaurants. It is a 5 minute walk from the bus station. Even though we left very early, they still prepared a Banh Mi for breakfast.

The staff was incredible. I fell off my motorbike on my way into Ha Giang, and they helped me get to the hospital, extended my stay, and helped organize alternate travel back to Hanoi. So incredibly helpful! The room was clean, comfortable, and had the nicest bathroom I’ve seen yet in Vietnam.

We’ve stayed in a lot of homestays in Vietnam but he is for sure the sweetest host we’ve had. He helped us plan our ha giang loop, cleaned our motorbike and checked if everything was safe. They made us delicious dinner and the house was super clean. Highly recommend!!

fun location in between the mountains and in a little commune of homestays. Just about 5 minutes away from arguably the best view on all the ha giang loop. So or SoSo and the staff were great, stayed up learning a bit of Vietnamese with them and chatting life.

The staff was suuuuper friendly and welcoming. We did the Ha Giang Loop with Mr Hung Tourism, which is together with this hotel. Can absolutely recommend the tour and this hotel! 10/10 The room had a good size and everything worked fine and was clean.
