Huge comfortable bed, good wifi, tea and coffee and water provided and very friendly staff. Nice rooftop terrace to enjoy the view to Sapa town. I received a free upgrade as it isn’t high season and even got water and two bananas to take along on my trip.

Staying there was like going back in time. Though the rooms may seem basic (entrance level for luggage and bathroom; upstairs loft for sleeping and relaxing) they are perfectly comfortable, with heated bedding, plenty of blankets, pillows and cushions, an electric kettle to make tea/coffee, and great views towards the mountains. Note, however, that the stairs to the loft are steep and narrow. Meals (breakfast and dinner) are served in the dining building (across the garden from the rooms). Breakfasts were simple but fine and dinners were excellent value (hot pot, barbecue, etc). The hosts were friendly and welcoming and I'd especially like to thank Anh for her hospitality. This is the perfect place for young travellers, and the young at heart.

We had a wonderful stay in Sapa thanks to the amazing staff of Hotel Praha. We went hiking into the mountains and came back every time, it became literally home away from home. They took excellent care of all our needs and were incredibly generous of their time and attention. My daughter even had a totally unforgettable birthday dinner thanks to all the Praha team. We highly recommend them all.
