- From $94.06 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Excellent - What previous guests thought, 121 reviewsWe had a really good time at Elausa Hotel & Restaurant, it is adjacent to the farm where the owners work and located in a very rural place near the village of Rizokarpaso (Dipkarpaz). It’s got a large and beautiful garden. We felt very welcomed, the owners even provided us with a nice dinner (free). Facilities are good, very spacious rooms, but no TV and WiFi is mostly available in the main reception area, which can also be connected in some of the rooms. Good traditional Cypriot breakfast. We recommend this place to anyone who likes rural remote getaways. We would definitely stay there again. The owners only speak Turkish, they are friendly and helpful.Guest review byMrUnited Kingdom

Good bits were going to the wall city as it is known.it has a history which was interesting. The only one negative point was it was very hot and humid. Apart from the weather being a little hot it was an enjoyable outing. Just across the wall city there was a coffee shop that serves delicious cream cakes, sandwich, coffee, tea, wine and of course beers etc.Guest review byTrevor - 8.0

Iskele town is quite small, but has shops, banks and cafes. Caesars is onthe edge of town and 5 minuteswalkfrom the beach which is sandy and has ashallow shelf into the water. We went to a restaurant called the Hunger both nights while werethere,it is 5 minuttes walkfrom the apartment at Caesars and has an extensive menu at reasonable prices.Guest review byRovers3City0United Kingdom - 10.0

Make sure you have 100 Euros in cash as refundable damage deposit. You are on a complex however new shops and restaurants are opening all the time so no need to stay in one place. Shuttle busses are in operation from both Ercan and Larnaca airports. Only certain Southern Cyprus car hire companies can go through the border due to insurance cover, best to check first..Guest review byIanUnited Kingdom - 8.0

It was very remote from busy places, though there were about 4-5 other big resorts in the vicinity, such as Artemis, Limak, Concorde resorts etc. We stayed for 12 days in this Thalassa resort where the apartment was and overall we had very good stay. Vokolida was quite far from other popular places, such as Iskele, Famagust, Kyrenia, but it was very convenient for the best beaches and Dipkarpaz area in the remote corner of North CyprusGuest review byXhaferUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The main thing that impressed me was the trust of the people for example I dropped my monza bank card on the way back from the supermarket an someone handed it in to the reception at Caesar blue an leaving belongings at the beach when swimming in the sea no problem don’t worry about it…Guest review bymickUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Enjoyed local museums, which with a hire car are easy to access for 50TL each. This saved money on arranged tours. Nicosia, Girne and Famagusto (ghost town) are well worth a visit. Lucca, Caleo, Wine Bar, Lezz Eat - on site. the Hungre, The Last Port and Indian Restaurant Jashan. A lot can be accessed on foot. A bus service can be used to visit the other Caesar resorts. Hire car gave us greater flexibility. We were a family of 4 travelling with our young adult kids.Guest review byPeterUnited Kingdom - 10.0

famagusta is a really interesting place to visit because of it's historical significance, the old (walled) town is being slowly restored and there are lovely places to eat and shop. the main town outside the city walls is bustling and has a variety of good shops, most things are somewhat cheaper than in Southern Cyprus, although have increased since our last visitGuest review byelLomboUnited Kingdom - 10.0
What did you like?
What did you like? I loved how affordable the hotel was compared to the quality and service! The food was great, and the facilities were beautiful and well-maintained. There were lots of fun activities and open areas to enjoy — even though some outdoor places were closed because it’s not summer yet, they’ll definitely open in April. What did you think of the breakfast? The breakfast had a wide variety and everything was fresh and tasty. How was the location? The location is peaceful and relaxing, perfect for a getaway. What didn't you like? It was a bit too crowded and noisy at times, especially in the common areas. What could have been better? It would’ve been nicer if it was a bit less busy and loud. I also wish there were some nice halal mocktails available on the menu. A short sentence to sum up your stay: A beautiful hotel with great value, delicious food, and excellent facilities — just a bit crowded.Guest review bymayarIsrael - 8.0

Out of season (January), it is very very quiet and rather cold, with most things closed down in this smaller town (as with most smaller towns in north and south Cyprus late December through February). We should have known this ahead of time, so that's on us. The people were very welcoming and kind. And the landscape and scenery IS gorgeous, as green as you'll get in Cyprus and that likely only happens during these rainy months. Oh, and drive to the tip of the island and bring carrots for the donkeys. It's wild! (p.s. My husband thought it would be great biking weather.)Guest review byMichelleUnited States - 8.0
We have always wanted to see FAMAGUSTA , The walled City.
We have always wanted to see FAMAGUSTA , The walled City. It was Beautiful. Othello's Castle. Views over the Port, The Beautiful Churches. Even the statue of William Shakespeare was a delight to see. We just looked around the shops and views from the walled city and exploring the alleyways. Weather was perfect. We ate ALL Inclusive at our Hotel. We were only in Famagusta a short while. Very Lovely trip.Guest review byAnonymousCyprus
