A perfect stopover en route to Cape Town via route 62. The cottage is a quaint historic building with thick walls and was sparkling clean. We had everything we needed for our stay and especially enjoyed the stoep looking onto the garden with a great view of the mountains. Perfect waterwise garden with olive trees and a good enclosed space for our two little dogs to stretch their legs. Our host Jeanette was most helpful too. We can definitely recommend this lovely cottage!

The isolation of the place was exactly what I wanted. Jana checked in with me constantly without being in our space. The welcoming sherry, bread and cheese was a classy touch. The accommodation provided for all our needs.

With mountain views, Bosch Luys Kloof Nature Reserve is located in Ladismith and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace.

This place as well as the staff is a true Gem. We were Welcomed by Caro & Daniel, and were walked on premises visit immediately on arrival. We stayed for 1 night only as this was part of a road trip, and we regret not to have stayed more. This place is so quiet and romantic in the middle of a wonderful area. Perfect for a couple or a family, and with a swimming pool much appreciated. all what you see on the website is what you get on arrival, even more. 5 star + with no hesitation. Dinner at restaurant as well as breakfast excellent ! And the road to reach the lodge is worth 5 star too. Don't miss this experience. :)

We were visiting the area to climb Touwerkop. Perfect location 10mins from start of route. Hospitality and facilities were outstanding.

Oaksrest Vineyards Guest Farm is a recently renovated guest house in Ladismith, where guests can makes the most of its pool with a view, water sports facilities and garden.

We loved the view. The cottage has a view of the western side of Towerkop, the local famous mountain. It's very pretty and scenic. We went to swim at the dam. The dam is super. Lovely grass lawn and a super view of Towerkop. It was spectacular.

Wolverfontein Karoo Cottages is located in Plathuis and features a private pool and river views. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property.

I liked the "antique" (decoration) furnishings combined with modern amenities. It was quiet and the best place to fall completely out of touch with the "real" world and it's pressures. The cottage privacy and the venue solitude gave us the opportunity to reconnect with each other. This was a short weekend stay but a very valuable and refreshing one. The hosts also, went beyond the expected to make sure we were OK - this is a long story you can ask them about!
