- From $1,812.69 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 127 reviewsI can't say enough great things about The Silo. I had read all the rave reviews about the architecture, the service, the rooftop pool/bar before booking my stay... the last night of a milestone mother/daughter birthday trip. It was a splurge, but it was a special occasion so I booked us the Duplex Suite. I had noted the birthdays on my reservation and when we arrived we were given such a warm welcome by the staff and they said they had a birthday surprise for us (we thought it was early check in since we arrived a few hours early). We were given a tour of the hotel's common spaces (all perfectly decorated with curated pieces and local art) along with a glass of champagne but weren't prepared for our last surprise when we were walked down the hall and escorted to our upgraded room... the Royal Suite. This was easily the most luxurious of accommodations we had ever stayed in. Two beautiful rooms, two beautiful bathrooms, the interior design details, a bottle of champagne chilling and a birthday treat -- every detail was perfect. Management went above and beyond throughout our entire stay and truly made the last day of our birthday trip so special and unforgettable. If you find yourself in Cape Town don't pass up the opportunity to stay at The Silo.Guest review byJessicaUnited States
- From $140.99 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.9Good - What previous guests thought, 2,412 reviewsWe loved our rooms, which had gorgeous views of the golf course and ocean. For early risers, a sunrise with a coffee is unforgettable. The rooms are spacious, and the bathroom is an absolute delight, with a huge tub to soak away in. The buffet breakfast had a nice variety of options, from your classic egg station to salmon pâté and scones. If you take the option with breakfast included, it is great value for money. The golf course is one of the most beautiful courses I have played in my life.Guest review byJacquesOman

My visit was very short this time, and the weather was not favourable. I have never been to Long Street, but I understand it is one of the best places to be. Other places mentioned below are very nice places to visit, including V&A Waterfront, and Cape Point is the best for me, to drive up. I would recommend people to at least spend a day there, go up, then follow the foot trails. wine tasting is also one of the best experiences in the Mother City. Sunset at Signal Hill is a must-experience. There is so much more that a person can do in Cape Town, depending on one's preference. Different boat cruises are also availableGuest review byMmamieSouth Africa - 10.0

The Stellenbosch countryside is a breathtaking blend of natural beauty, rich heritage, and tranquil charm. Nestled in the heart of South Africa’s renowned Winelands, it boasts rolling vineyards, majestic mountains, and picturesque farm estates that stretch as far as the eye can see. The landscape is dotted with historic Cape Dutch architecture, charming wine farms, and artisanal markets, creating a perfect harmony between tradition and modern rural living. Whether you're sipping world-class wines, exploring scenic hiking trails, or simply enjoying the peace of the open landscape, the Stellenbosch countryside offers an unforgettable escape into nature and culture. Stellenbosch is a place to consider visiting, very safe, beautful, charming and the people are great.Guest review byCHITIMA - 10.0

Mossel Bay itself has so much to see and do and then you have all the little treasures on the outskirts of Mossel Bay. One that we found this weekend after visiting Mossel Bay for the last 15 years is the Butterfly Sanctuary on the R328 in Ruitersbos. Visit in summer to see the butterflies as in winter their numbers are far less. A must at the sanctuary is to meet Earle Whitely a world renowned butterfly expert.Guest review byKennethSouth Africa - 10.0

we have been to Oudtshoorn several times over a number of years. The attractions are mainly the same but still worth a visit - however interesting to see how much the town has grown and evolved. The drive through the Swartberg Mountains is NOT to be missed. The primary reason we took this trip.Guest review bySumayaSouth Africa
