We had the most incredible experience at Aquila Private Game Reserve for our honeymoon! From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. The game drives were an unforgettable highlight, especially with our guide Josh. He was incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and kind. His ability to share fascinating insights about the animals and the land made every moment feel even more meaningful. We loved his warm outlook and thoughtful guidance — it truly felt like we were exploring with a friend who genuinely cared about making our experience special. The accommodation was beautiful — cozy, welcoming, and full of thoughtful touches. We especially loved having a fireplace in our cottage room, making the evenings feel extra romantic and relaxing. As a honeymoon surprise, Aquila went above and beyond by setting up champagne and fresh fruit for us, which made us feel so celebrated and cared for. The food throughout our stay was absolutely incredible — fresh, flavorful, and with a great variety that left us looking forward to every meal. Whether it was breakfast before the morning drive or dinner by the fire, every bite was memorable. Sara was amazing in helping coordinate everything so smoothly, especially with our group of guests who were coming for different kinds of experiences — overnight stays, day trips, and half-day drives. Thanks to her, we were all able to be together and share the adventure, even though we were traveling from all over the world. Every part of our stay felt personal, thoughtful, and full of heart. We are so grateful to the entire Aquila team for making our honeymoon so magical. We can't wait to return someday!

Jaco was so personable and made us feel very welcome on arrival. Absolutely stunning location and a complete change of environment to other places we had visited on the garden route. A true farm/vineyard environment with very rustic furnishings and personal touches that made the stay so inviting. The outdoor shower to try is a must but you can also use the indoor ones as additional. The local town had the most beautiful restaurant but local resident environment. Very friendly staff, beautiful hotel and beautiful surrounding scenery. We went in August when it was less busy and the staff opened up the restaurant for dinner and breakfast just for us. Food was good and well priced. Would have loved to take a dip in the pool if it wasn't winter :) The hotel is also far enough from the main road and has a gate so feels very safe and secluded.

Nikita and the stuff were just wonderful and the dinner is soooo jummy :-) we went for a walk every morning in the vineyard Thank you so much Nikita :-) Greetings from Corsica

Quiet area. Very safe. Comfortable beds and clean bedding. Host was very friendly. When meeted and greeted i felt welcome and was like a home away from home.

That farmer Bob was extremely friendly and helpful. Him and his wife went above and beyond to make our stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible.

The owner was extremely friendly. We felt welcome at their guesthouse, which is the most important factor. The rooms were clean, neat, and warm.

The location was excellent for our needs and the packed continental breakfast a bonus.
