We went for a wedding; we found charming, friendly staff, very spacious, comfortable accommodations, and beauty in abundance. My wife loves new foods and spices, and we both enjoy wildlife. Any time we were in the spacious, spotless dining room or walking across the 30-acre campus, we encountered new tastes, sights, sounds, smiles and blooms. We were prepared for biting insects but were surprised that we were not bothered by them at all, even though butterflies were common. We walked with naturalists, watched the sunset over the lake, dined with new friends, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Excellent, serene and peaceful in the midst of nature. Listening to the music of flute, watching kingfisher catching fish from the lagoon while sipping superb Darjeeling tea from the verandah of our traditional bungalow are few of the best thing we did at this Taj property. Mr. Manoj Pandey, the chef is amazing. He made sure we enjoy specially prepared Kerala cuisine that are less spicy and served specifically prepared desserts for my husband who is diabetic. He is extremely knowledgeable about dietary need of guests who has severe food allergies and Celiac disease. He prepared special Kerala cuisine appam and the entire meal including special desserts using separate utensils and separate area of the kitchen for our daughter who is severely allergic. Our daughter who is staying in different resort is truly grateful to Mr. Pandey. He even prepared and packed special meal for her for our houseboat. I would highly recommend anyone who has food allergies and Celiac disease to stay at this property without worrying about food contamination. Apu who serves food took care of us so well. Each and every staffs were extremely nice and professional. The person who drove us back and forth from our bungalow was extremely nice.

    Absolutely loved our stay. The resort is one of the best in it's category. The warmth, friendliness and hospitality is unmatched. The best resort we've stayed at. All our requests were met with a smile. Special mention of Ragesh, Jithin and Regimon. Whose service was exemplary.

    It was amazing Resort The facilities were really good.. We went at a quite time but still we’ve been looked after so well!! The pool is very well maintained but some part of the steps can be a bit slippy at the corners so be careful of that.. Also eating out side at bite time can be tricky.. Google it and find a good place before you go out as we went looking for a place to eat outside but it was hard to find a good one

    This is undoubtedly a beautiful resort with excellent facilities and well appointed rooms. I would describe it more as a family resort than a relaxing spa as there were a lot of young children about, however this might have been due to North Indian holidays. We enjoyed it, but with a few reservations.

    Excellent location and super friendly staff. The place has a warmth of its own. If you are looking for luxury and exceptional room service I would suggest Kumarakom Lake Resort BUT if you are looking for a stay closure to nature with original Kerala cuisine then go for Coconut Lagoon. Some staffs like Md Shafi, Lekha, Christopher, Jijo were super helpful. If you are travelling with a toddler - then this is THE place.
