Staff were very sweet and despite a language barrier all interactions were great. The owner gave my partner and I some oranges on the morning of checkout as a very nice gesture. The onsens were very nice and worth the money, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring Izu.

The staff were genuinely so lovely and hospitable, and loved the aesthetic of the rooms as well! The lady who runs the place is also very good at English, and if your Japanese is not so strong, she is happy to explain things in English. Was also greeted with some snacks and tea when I arrived, which was definitely appreciated :)
