Resorts in Koh Rong Sanloem

New and meticulously clean and amazing service!! They are so kind and helpful and I felt so comfortable. The mattress is amazing too!

Easily the most luxurious hotel in the island! Greeted with a cold drink, hand towel and snack, really beautifully designed and friendly staff. Lovely a la carte breakfast.

This is truly a paradise, I love to stay more but have to return my country. Julia is really friendly and nice lady, I like the way she operates this place. The bathroom is clean, the staff clean the beach every day. Although I come from Vietnam, the Spanish food is delicious for me. If you have small luggage this is fun to take a short trekking through jungle.

A friendly community, great food, clean bungalow.

The location on a beautiful clean stretch of white sand. The bungalows were large simple but well appointed. The staff especially Hong, the manager were excellent. Hong greeted us every morning with his big smile and we always had a laugh.

This was our second accommodation on Koh Rong Samloem and this was by far and away superior. It's right in the heart of everything whilst still being very quiet. Staff are lovely and helpful, the room was great ( no mosquitos bites whilst in the room, that is rare for an island) and the free breakfast was a lovely touch, with a nice view in the morning.

Wonderful location, nice facility, friendly staff, good breakfast Got upgraded to a bungalow on the beach, choose that if you can. Restaurant not the best, but you only have to walk a bit to find a good one

Lazy Beach is a 1 mi walk from the ferry drop off on the east side of island. The east side of the island is full of hostels and resorts and is built up quite a bit. We saw a good number of people from the east side making that walk to the west side because the beach there is much nicer, secluded, and doesn't have a lot of people. The location is absolutely worth it. And the place is awesome. A fantastic covered, very large area to hang out whether you want to be social or secluded, both work. The staff were great, the food excellent, and the beach houses were simple yet felt luxurious. Also if they know that you're coming, they will send a tractor to pick you up from the dock, though other west side places such as sunset Beach is unable to pick you up because the walk entails descending a beautiful but very steep and narrow rocky trail that can only be walked with a backpack and definitely not carrying a suitcase. We visited in March, 2023 during which time there was an extensive amount of work done throughout the island establishing very wide roads as there is apparently an extensive amount of development happening on the island. It looks as though a huge amount of money is being put into developing the island by outside investment which could severely threaten the backpacker, cool, and remote vibe that seems to attract so many people to the island. If this happens, I think it'll be a really big loss. All this is to say, get too lazy beach as fast as you can before it could change in the next few years.

The Cleanliness and Hospitality of the Staff

Lovely resort to just relax and enjoy the beach. My husband and I have been backpacking for months and this was exactly what we needed to recharge. The room was cozy and comfortable with a beautiful porch to enjoy throughout the stay. The bathroom was big and separated. The staff are very friendly and doing their best (some are learning English so have patience and understanding). The food at the restaurant was good portions and quality. Overall the place is very well run and organized. The beach in front of the resort is nice and cleaned daily. Would have loved to stay a few more days!
