This was a real treat. There were only 4 people in the entire resort at the time, since we came at the end of Easter vacation and the begining of the wet and shoulder season. The grounds are gorgeous, the garden, wonderful, the staff was very helpful and nice, and we had an upgrade that was not short of royal: I truly thought that we entered a several-room bungalow whereas it was our room! A room with a patio and a front and a side terrasses. Monkeys playing in the trees in the morning. The nature is very present and lush and beautiful. We went on a hike which we couldn't finish, since we've discovered a new species we had never met before: leeches. My daughter freaked! But it was an experience. She very much enjoyed the pool, overlooking the valley, and I booked an ayurvedic massage, which was the best I had in Sri Lanka. The man had very skilled hands. It is a place to get lost into, it feels last the days of yore, an estate to spend peaceful days. Unfortunately it wasn't our case, since we booked only a night, thereby shortening a safari that would have been (accurately so!) too long had we stayed an extra night. So it was an stop-by in between locations, booked a bit last-minute. Our next destination was Amba Estate, one of the few existing estates rolling tea by hand, with a social purpose since it has very good labor conditions and employs the villagers, thereby creating a strong community. I would recommend as well, it's not that far, on the other side of the mountain, hence "on the way" toward Ella, where we jumped on a train to our next adventures. Thank you again for having us and allowing such a beautiful stay. I also had the best cocktail and we both enjoyed our meals!

What I loved most was the peaceful atmosphere. It felt like our own private retreat, away from the noise of the world. 2. The Design & Decor The suite was tastefully designed with a blend of luxury and Sri Lankan charm. Every detail from the elegant furniture to the calming color palette—made us feel pampered. 3. The Garden and Views Waking up to the sound of birds , monkeys and a view of the lush garden was magical. 4. The Warm Hospitality The team at Andriyala went above and beyond. Their kindness and attention to detail made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. 5. The Bath and Relaxation Amenities I especially loved the bathtub and the view ❤️ 6. The Food The food was exceptionalfresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We still talk about the local breakfast we had on the balcony.🍃 7. The Romantic Vibe We went with honeymoon package..It was the perfect romantic setting for us as a couple. Candle-lit dinners,bed decos, and peaceful nights made it feel like a second honeymoon.

Amazing location, most beautiful sunrise over the valley you will certainly remember. Delicious food for a good price, portions are giant. Amazing hospital staff, all of them very kind and helpful.

Wow, what a stunning property - the views are gorgeous! The hotel is beautiful and extremely peaceful. It is a bit outside the main town, which makes it a perfect place to stay if you want to be immersed in nature and more secluded from the crowds. We stayed in a chalet, and it was lovely, spacious and very clean. The views from the deck on the first floor and the huge A-frame window on the second floor are incredible. The pool is beautiful and the views from it are unbeatable, especially while sipping a fresh king coconut. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel, and all the food was excellent - some of the best food we had on our trip (and I’m Sri Lankan so I have a high standard). Everyone working at the hotel is very kind and wants to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The final drive to the hotel is a bit bumpy but not too long, and the hotel will pick you up from and drop you to the main road that goes into Ella town. It is a bit of a drive to Ella town and some of the main attractions in the area, but we felt this trade-off was completely worth it to stay in such a gorgeous, quiet, and comfortable setting. Highly recommend - we would definitely stay here again!

The best staying! Highly recommended! The owner is sooooo friendly and nice, he is thoughtful and careful, helped arranged everything and booked us a wonderful safari trip with reasonable price. I would love to recommend to everyone who love nature and good vibes.

It’s such a wonderful place. Beautiful views, wonderful people. Quiet and peaceful. It’s a 15 minute walk or a 5mins tuk tuk drive to town. Wi-Fi is great.

The greenery, walking distance from Nine Arches bridge and Little Adam’s Peak, different species of plants, visiting birds, the Sri Lankan breakfast, overall cleanliness and the warm welcome.

This was 10/10 experience. I absolutely felt like I was home with this beautiful Sri Lankan family. This room is nested in the mountains - the most serene views every single day. The breakfast was amazing - always made with so much love. I will stay here every time I come to Ella. You can walk right into town within 7 minutes. If you stay here - there is a little spot to have tea to the left of the property and i definitely recommend stopping there on your walk into town.
