The views were great, the staff was extremely cooperative and made sure to go the extra mile like arranging a poolside BBQ for us. The rooms were aesthetically pleasing and cleaned well. Breakfast, tea time snacks, and dinner was delicious and presented beautifully each time. The food was not very expensive either; it was good value for money.

The Farm Resorts is located on the shores of the Castlereigh Lake in Dickoya. The Resort has barbecue facilities and terraced garden, and guests can enjoy a meal at the a la carte restaurant.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting up country. Note, this is not a 4/5-star hotel or so, but the atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to us. We stayed at Leon Hilltop Resort, Kitulgala, and it was a truly memorable experience. Although the owner was not there in person, he made sure everything was perfectly arranged for us. He arranged for Sampath to meet us before the location and assist us to the property, which was very thoughtful. Sampath was extremely helpful and friendly. We were warmly welcomed with a refreshing drink upon arrival. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. While the resort doesn't have its own restaurant, they asked what we wanted for dinner and even brought it from outside during heavy rain, something we truly appreciated. For breakfast, we requested string hoppers, and they kindly arranged rice, bread, and string hoppers. The place is peaceful, very clean, and offers a stunning mountain view. The entire staff, including two other team members whose names we unfortunately didn’t get, were kind, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. The owner also kept in touch with us throughout our stay to ensure everything was going smoothly. This experience exceeded our expectations and was absolutely worth more than what we paid. Even though we are locals, we were treated with the same care and respect as any guest which is rare. After a tiring field visit to Makandawa Forest Reserve, the calm atmosphere and excellent service made our stay even more enjoyable. Thank you to everyone at Leon Hilltop Resort. We highly recommend this place!
