What a place, when we arrived we were first a little concerned about the isolation...but when we realised where we were staying and what we had access to...it was great to be isolated there. Everything was awesome, the food was next level, we only ate off the Sri Lankan menu and are very glad we did. The room was lovely, the pool very relaxing and the staff very helpful. Having a shuttle to Lion Rock at 0500 in the morning helped beat the crowds and heat and when we finished, the driver had cool water and cold towels, a nice touch. Would love to stay here again one day.

Amazing place, looks like the photos. If you're looking for a luxurious room with a super comfortable bed, lots of space, and a great location just book this one. Everything was super clean and the staff was incredibly sweet and helpful.

The area on which the apartments/houses were built is incredible. Sourrounded by nature, with a perfect view of the two gigantic rocks that every tourist wants to see anyway during their stay. It's quite, you hear nothing but nature which is amazing especially when you just came from a bigger city. All in all, the facilities are modern, clean and everything you would expect from a high level hotel like this. However, what you would probably not expect, is one of the nicest hosts both my friend and I have met during many stays over the last weeks of travelling. We felt welcome the second we arrived and when asking how long the pool is open, the answer was "Don't worry, you're home.". I think that pretty much sums it up. Kalika and Preethika, the hosts and owners, made us feel like a member of a family, and they helped us planning some amazing trips (booking tuck tucks to the rocks at 5am in the morning, a safari to the elephants, a cab to a nearby temple,...). I don't know if I could expecty anything more from a stay, and the both of them were responsible not only for a great stay from dinner to breakfast, but also for everything in between. I strongly recommend staying at this property and speaking with the owners Kalika and Preethika, they are insporing, welcoming, humorous and caring people. What also makes this place special is the fact that every single one working at the property is genuinely friendly, we had many nice conversations with staff at the restaurant. People were sincerely interested not only in our plans but also in showing what the Sri Lankan cuisine has to offer. Speaking of which: Try Sri Lankan breakfast and curry rice for dinner. While the location was outside of the area for most of the town’s amenities, its relative isolation meant for a quiet, more peaceful stay. Also saw some (harmless) wildlife near the huts: peacocks and peahens, other colorful birds, lizards, frogs etc. The staff was flexible and accommodating; if I ever return to Sigiriya, I will plan to return to Chena Huts.

    The Resort was like a little private paradise as they have a few private bungalows and don’t accept a numerous amount of guests. In addition the pool and restaurant area were very nice, giving the option of a various food menu (typical srilankan and international). The Staff was probably the greatest part of our stay as they were very kind and always satisfied our needs. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying a few days in Sigyria.

    The resort was everything you could dream about in a holiday. A luxury in the middle of Sigiriya‘s famous rocks and a pool to enjoy the view from. The service and the room was fabulous, the bed was the comfiest we slept in so far. Since we spent our honeymoon there we could not have asked for a more memorable stay.     We had a wonderful stay at Kaveri Resort; it was like being in a jungle with roomy accommodations and a gorgeous outlook. Our good stay was further enhanced by the outstanding service and delicious meals. Our experience was improved overall by being close to the lake. Highly recommended
