we stayed here to be close enough to the lake that we could get up and go, and then have somewhere to rest after. for that purpose, beautiful. nice spacious and CLEAN room. lovely porch. very very quiet but literally 10 mins from the lake and 15 mins from the main town. easy to rent a bike from the owners, which is well worth it as it’s a little remote. nice staff and a lovely dog who loves to come sit with you!

Accessible down an unsealed track, the property is located just off Highway 401 in Ban Bang Nao (Khao Sok Lake area). We booked accommodation while on the road and travelled that afternoon. The onsite caretaker was surprised when we arrived. As she only spoke Thai it took a while to access a room. After inspecting the timber bungalows that aligned with our booking we chose the newer motel-style rooms. These are quite large but only come with twin beads. Unfortunately, the toilet seat had what looked like dried urine, there was toothpaste-style residue in the hand basin and a piece of plastic (trash) on the floor behind the bathroom door. We were the only guests in the whole complex and decided it was sufficient for an overnight stop. In the morning we left just as the equipment of the cement works immediately neighbouring the property started to whir, clunk and bang.

We were looking for a budget, quiet place on the way from Surat Thani to Krabi, to get a very good rest and a good night sleep after a long day at the Kao Soak National Park... and bingo! I was not mistaken! It was exactly and beyond what we needed! Very large room, decent shower and bathtub powerful air-condition convenient parking place and a 7\11 across the road.

Such a beautiful location in nature by the river, the sounds of birds, cicadas. Swimming in the river and a bamboo raft trip directly from the camp was brilliant! Lovely cabin with beautiful flowering plants hanging down keeping it shaded. Semi outdoor bathroom and balcony to enjoy the view. Good food in the restaurant most days, Film staff member was really helpful for onward travel and trips.

Amazing property near the dam. Perfect for breaking up the journey to Koh Samui from Phuket or if playing golf in the area. Very friendly owners and a great bar/restaurant. Stunning sunset views.
