The views are amazing. My partner and I were sick and had to stay for one more night. The staff were very nice and helpful, prepared plain white rice for me in every meal and made the stay much comfortable that it would hage been without them.

Pond (the manager) is a delightful, truly exceptional lady. She (and her family) made such a huge, positive difference throughout both of our stays. We can't say enough good things about her. Nono (the chef) was cheerful, helpful, and provided much better than expected food at the on-site restaurant. Many of the dinners we had there were delicious. The breakfast buffet has a good variety of choices. Esmeralda is a beautiful property with bungalows that are rustic, charming, and (mostly) functional. *Make sure you confirm exactly which class of bungalow you're booking so there are no surprises when you get there*. We stayed twice within a 3 week period, in the deluxe C-3 and the corner deluxe B-4 (spa bathtub!). Absolutely beautiful views from both units. Complete privacy (except for the geckos ;) Both had well-functioning AC. The bungalows could use a bit more maintenance, but nothing too major or unexpected for an island property. We appreciated that the staff took seriously the few minor issues that did come up. They really care about their guests.

Level of service from the staff is exceptional. From the front desk, spa and up to the general manager. Extreme nice and hospitable. The beach is gorgeous, the merge of the small "bongalow" like rooms with the surrounding nature and the sea is just perfect. The shower is an under the stars shower which we loved and only increased the immersion into nature. Also the proces of the facilities, the restaurant, the massage etc are very affordable allowing us to stay at the resort at all times and truly enjoy the ambience.

    The resort Is wonderful and perfect for nature lovers who still want to enjoy the beach and pool. From the comfort of your terrace you can see monkeys, squirrels, lizards and friendly cats. It's a small paradise. The staff is very kind and can organise transfers and tours. Breakfast and check-out times are quite generous. Guests can use SUP boards and kayaks. The infinity pool is gorgeous. The bungalows come with a lovely terrace with patio furniture, mosquito net and fridge. The bed was extremely comfortable. We felt truly at home here.

    Everything was perfect! It’s our third time staying at this resort and it will not be our last. The staff here is so welcoming and will do everything to make your stay as perfect as possible. The food is great, the location is wonderful and the rooms are really nice. You even get a private pool for yourself, but we mainly used the beach. It’s absolutely wonderful here at Yao Yai Beach Resort!
