It was a very pleasant surprise, I was only looking for somewhere to stay and I found this place and what a surprise. The staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough for its guests and I do mean all the staff at every level and the setting for breakfast is worth it alone, freshly fried eggs on toast cooked just how I wanted them sitting with the river just there was spectacular.

    The hotel is in a great location, with lots of areas to relax around the lake. Poolside rooms are nice, probably worth the extra money over the cheaper rooms at the resort. Breakfast in the morning was great

    Naga Tara was the best hotel experience we had on our journey through Northern Thailand. We spent two nights in the villa. The location and garden right on the shore of the lake is just lovely. The rooms are spacious and clean. The owner seems to look after the resort very well. The staff is exceptionally friendly. We had a wonderful breakfast. I travel a lot and never write recommendations, but this time I really wanted to.
