The accommodations at this small hotel rivals any at the best five star hotels where we have stayed. The cabin where we stayed was very tastefully decorated with antique french furniture. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was sparkling clean and quite large. The restaurant had a bakery and an ice cream bar with some of the best quality baked goods and beautiful ice cream desserts. Food was outstanding even though the menu was somewhat limited. The owner and staff went our of their way to accommodate our requests. We were traveling on a motorcycle with a sidecar and were concerned about it getting wet. They thoughtfully provided us with a cover for the bike. Because we wanted to get any early start for our travel on the day we left, the owner and staff came in an hour early to provided us with a delicious breakfast. There was a choice of an Asian or American breakfast that is provided with the room rental. We highly recommend this hotel to everyone, and will book a room here again.

I’m honestly surprised by some of the negative reviews. Here’s my experience: Incredible value for money—a true island escape at a fair price. The pace is slow, serene, and exactly what you’d want from a remote getaway. The staff, Amy and her team, are exceptionally kind and go above and beyond to make your stay special. Some people forget that this is a remote island, not a city with extensive infrastructure, but if you arrive with the right mindset, it’s an unforgettable experience. The rooms were clean, modern, and in excellent condition—no complaints there. The beachfront location is pure paradise. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, this is the place. WiFi and cellular signal is functional around the reception and restaurant areas but troublesome in the rooms. That’s an island-wide infrastructure issue, not a resort problem. If you come with the right expectations, you’ll have an amazing stay—I certainly did!
