“We were lucky enough to visit at the end of September and experience perfect weather. TIR is a smaller hillside resort with a nice beachfront. It is well kept and worthy of a return.”
“The main building, decorated faux Hawaiian style (which I am very fond of) is very nice. The breakfast area is bright and pleasant as well. The problem is that the rooms are in need of serious upgrade. Although clean, and the facilities and tv worked, there is nothing at all inviting about the room. The door has peeling paint and the room is kind of dingy. Nothing horrible to complain about but it's just an honest assessment, especially compared to many other places to stay. All staff we interacted with was very friendly and helpful.”
“This was a VERY family friendly resort. Lots of lawn for the kids to run around on, and my son loved the playground. We had a 2 bedroom suite which was great while traveling with a baby. We kept one bedroom quiet for her naps/bedtime, while we all hung out in the other room. It was nice having a TV in both rooms! Staff was very welcoming.”
“The resort was located nearby Lake George Village”
“This "resort" was convenient to Lake George and nearby attractions i.e. Fort Ticonderoga, Glen Falls, etc. Sunday brunch was delightful with great freshly made omelets that are cooked to order. Bar was pleasant and welcoming. We had the pulled pork nacho platter that was delicious! Bartender - Dusty - was welcoming and informative about the area. TV and free wifi were a plus.”
