Very nice and charming hotel. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Both bar and restaurant are very good. The bed was really comfortable, which is important to me. The location is awesome, really strategic for trips to Xunantunich, Caracol, and the Green Hills Butterfly Reserve, all of which I would highly recommend visiting while there. The Green Iguana Conservation Project is right on site, likewise highly recommended.

This family-run lodge offers a health spa, an eco-friendly swimming pool and unique accommodation with private verandas and jungle views. It is set next to the Macal River, in a private rainforest reserve. The staff were wonderful and the grounds were stunning. Our room was also beautiful. We loved the on-site activities including the stables, butterfly sanctuary and canoes.

Set in beautiful gardens, Ka'ana Resort & Spa features a spa, an infinity pool and charming rooms with terraces. Located outside San Ignacio, it offers excursions to nearby national parks, caves and the rainforest. The staff was excellent. Very attentive in trying to address any need that I had.

Set in Belmopan, 39 km from Cahal Pech, KikiWitz Resort offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a restaurant. With a bar, the 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. The accommodation provides room service, a concierge service and luggage storage for guests. The room was spacious and very comfortable and we loved the privacy of our own little cabin. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. We rented a car in Belize City and drove the 90 minutes to the resort ourselves, as shuttles to the property are very expensive and once you arrive there isn’t anything within walking distance. You can take the bus into Belmopan, but the freedom of having our own car was wonderful. This is a great home base for cave tubing and other jungle adventures and for visiting Mayan ruins.
