Obelisk Nile Hotel Aswan Resort is located on the Nile Corniche, just 5 minutes' drive from the centre of Aswan. All rooms have a garden view. Extremely good location just at the Nile's bank. Nice and clean hotel facilities, great staff, good food both at the main and Italian restaurants. Yes, it is Egyptian Italian cousine, but eatable :)) You simply escape the road with many poor kids and locals chasing you for money, boat trips etc. The hotel staff do their best for tourists, so we really enjoyed staying there.

Everything on the menu was delicious. Electricity and internet services were at highest quality. It is located in one of the niche places in Aswan, and the design & architecture of the place was reflecting the whole Nubian culture with all its colors. The hotel itself, the rooms were very authentic and the staff supported on all travel facilities. We were picked up from and dropped off to the airport, and taken to all destinations within Aswan city with the marvelous boat. All staff were super helpful and they were really supportive on planning as well. Thank you once again!

Friendly and responsive staff. Very close to Abu Simbel temple (20 minutes walk). Hotel manager very helpful to organize local trips - i did a 4x4 desert safari to wadi el-sabua/Daka temples. Warmly recommend this hotel.

Note: The hotel has two buildings with different designs; request the newer section for more contemporary styling if preferred. Aswan offers a refreshing change of pace in Egypt, and this property perfectly captures its tranquil charm.

The location is in a tranquil nubian village on the west side of the Nile. If you're with the car, you easily exit on a highway towards the Aswan Dam of Abu Simbel. The courtyard is a traditional one, the room was big, clean and with a good wi-fi. The host was careful and the surroundings looked safe. We also parked the car at the gate front and it was ok. The breakfast was tasteful and we served it outside in the courtyard. On the evenings, the lights from the courtyard make a warm and nice atmosphere. A good value for money!
