Obelisk Nile Hotel Aswan Resort is located on the Nile Corniche, just 5 minutes' drive from the centre of Aswan. All rooms have a garden view. Beautiful hotel by the banks of the Nile in Aswan, one of the best and central locations in the city. The staff was very helpful, the room was clean and good sized. They also helped us with a breakfast takeaway box for our early morning trip to Abu Simbel. The only small improvement I would suggest would be for them to get slightly more firm mattresses.

We really LOVED the location and the people! The hotel is host by amazing people that help you in all the ways possible! The place is really nice, colorful and comfortable. The restaurant has a vast variety of amazing food and is well served, prices are competitive and just. The administration helped us in every way: to arrive to the hotel, to book an amazing tour on the area, even to have a taxi for the airport.

The hotel is very impressive set in its own private grounds and with a great pool area. The room was very spacious and tastefully furnished. Cool balcony with a view of the Lake. On checking in, we were upgraded to have breakfast included - this was great as it cost around $30 each. The breakfast buffet had a great variety to suit all tastes. Would definitely stay again if we could afford to!

The location is in a tranquil nubian village on the west side of the Nile. If you're with the car, you easily exit on a highway towards the Aswan Dam of Abu Simbel. The courtyard is a traditional one, the room was big, clean and with a good wi-fi. The host was careful and the surroundings looked safe. We also parked the car at the gate front and it was ok. The breakfast was tasteful and we served it outside in the courtyard. On the evenings, the lights from the courtyard make a warm and nice atmosphere. A good value for money!
