It is part of a big complex, the length of the beach walk is around 1km. Most part of the beach is with rocks, but there is also sandy beach which is good for kids near the big restaurant ( Soprano ). There is also a pier to the deep water, but it was mostly closed beacuse the wind. Beacuse of the big area there is a bus line between the reception and the big restaurant in every 20 minutes and sometimes a little sightseeing train also takes guests around the hotel. We had 3 reservations for different type of rooms and asked to be close to each other, they were able to give us rooms close to each other in higher standard rooms and we got those better rooms without additional charge. Late checkout also was not a problem. The staff is very polite and everybody speaks English. I liked that the staff starts to speak to us in English not in Russian. Also a good thing that it is enough to tell to the agents ( massage, trips etc ) 'no thanks' once. There are enough bars, we did not had to wait for the drinks. In some of the bars there is a drink list with some basic cocktails ( pina colada, mojito, long island etc ) included in the All incl plan, we have tried some and they were unexpectedly good. There are about 20 pools, some of them is heated, the water of the slides is already heated. There is a free usable wifi in the entire hotel. Very good for families with kids ( suitable beach, slides, 4 person bicycles, ice cream at snacks restaurant etc ). The food was good, there is enough selection.

An amazing hotel, super clean, modern and beautiful. All staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. The food was nice and i cant recommend it enough. A must is an oriental massage - it was soooo good. We also dived with the Coraya Dive Centre which is on the hotel!

Blend Elphistone Resort Marsa Alam is 25 km north of Marsa Alam City and 37 km south of Marina. Marsa Alam International Airport is a 30-minute drive from the hotel. A Taxi service from Airport is available upon request with against fee. Was a nice stay in DLX room with a sea view. Daily cleaned, food was delicious, drinks as well. Staff were amazing, helpful and kind. There is a pier to go for open ocean. Very usefull for (lets say advanced) snorchelers. You may join the program there to not get bored. Big thank you to the staff and all the respect to them! When we will need again rest after diving, we will happily come back here, without a doubt 🙂 Petra & Daniel

Pickalbatros The Palace Port Ghalib Resort provides rooms and suites fitted with modern furnishings and tastefully decorated in the local décor. All units have a balcony which overlooks the Red Sea, the pool, gardens, or Port Ghalib International Marina. We liked the very comfortable room with a separate bathtub (honeymoon room) and a stunning view to the sea. The staff was extremely friendly and very professional.

The pools and beach with its own private reef is stunning! But the absolute best part About the resort is the staff! They are unbelievably kind and so friendly and welcoming. I have never experienced such a hospitable experience at an all inclusive resort! The staff WANT to make your stay amazing and are so passionate about their jobs! They truly make you feel like you’re at home with all the personalised attention. The drinks are amazing! The food is spectacular! Fresh honeycomb at breakfast! The animation staff is wonderful, so friendly and the fire show is spectacular! There is a Bedouin tent on the beach with a wonderful set up for the shishas. The staff again so friendly and warm, making it such a wonderful experience. Absolute best experience I’ve ever had at a resort

Excellent all-inclusive selection at meals, and some lovely restaurant options that are also included. Staff was friendly and helpful at all times, and more than willing to stop and chat. Good selection of pools and immediate access to a nice beach area, with a diving centre and house reef that we took advantage of with a scuba diving session which was a highlight of our trip. Overall great value for money, especially when considering the meals and the fact that alcohol is included in the all-inclusive price.
