Set in Ruka in the North Ostrobothnia region and Riisitunturi National Park reachable within 41 km, Ruka Chalet Roma offers accommodation with free WiFi, a children's playground, ski-to-door access... This place is amazing. The chalet is surrounded by forest. The first night it was a bit scary, but later we got used. There is comfortable parking nearby, a lake is within a few meters, Ruka resort isn't far away either. Two-three hours to Rowaniemi (snowy days). -There is a kitchen, two toilets, a sauna, a shower, and two bedrooms on the first floor, and on the second floor only additional places for sleep. -You can control heating in each room. -There is a washing machine and a dryer. -There are some special devices against mice (if we get it correctly), no mice :) -There is a fireplace, you can use it (take some wood). We were lucky to see the northern lights, it is the perfect location to see them (especially on the lake)!

We had an absolutely unforgettable stay at Magical Pond in Ruka, Finland, during the Christmas holidays. From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in a magical atmosphere that felt straight out of a fairy tale. The place is truly enchanting, with breathtaking nature and a warm ambiance that immediately charmed us. The hotel, intimate and cozy, offered the perfect setting for enjoying quality family time. Our two-year-old son loved playing in the snow, and the outdoor space, with stunning views of the frozen lake and snowy forests, was perfect for peaceful walks. The owners of the hotel, incredibly kind and welcoming, made a world of difference. They were always available to offer advice and little thoughtful gestures that made our stay even more enjoyable. Their warm hospitality truly made us feel at home, even though we were far away from it. The rooms were very comfortable, perfectly suited to the needs of a family with a young child. We especially appreciated the impeccable cleanliness and the attention to detail. The breakfast was delicious, featuring fresh, local products – a perfect way to start the day with energy. If you’re looking for a peaceful, magical, and authentic place to spend a memorable Christmas holiday, we highly recommend Magical Pond. It’s a place where nature, comfort, and hospitality come together to create an unforgettable experience. A huge thank you to the owners for their hospitality and kindness. We can’t wait to return!

Situated in Ruka in the North Ostrobothnia region and Riisitunturi National Park reachable within 42 km, Ruka Chalets Royal Apartments features accommodation with free WiFi, a children's playground,... The location is perfect as it is in the Ruka village itself close to all amenities, shops and restaurants. The apartment was spacious and clean, a balcony with a view of the ski and the village plus a sauna inside the bathroom which was really nice extra. It was warm and cosy inside the apartment, our family had an overall comfortable stay. And it’s very good value for money as well. Would recommend!

These modern apartments offer ski-in ski-out access to Ruka Ski Resort’s slopes. Each features a private sauna, balcony, kitchen facilities and free Wi-Fi. Central Kuusamo is 26 km away. Right close to the lifts, the rooms were really comfortable and well equipped. There is a paid parking right below the resort, so you can drop the car and take the lift to your room, very handy with the cold temperatures.

Located 100 metres from the main ski village and ski lifts, Ruka Chalets Ski-Inn offers accommodation in Ruka. Guests benefit from free WiFi and private parking available on site. Great apartment, very central, and was nice to find some basics provided - shampoo, dishwasher tablets etc. Was easy to get key and good communication from the host.
