I enjoyed again both the hotel facilities and the Bunaken reef and wall dives. The dive boats are well equipped and the dive guides well trained and safety conscious. My special thanks to Luther, my guide in 14 dives, and to the very friendly personnel of the resort. The only negative thing is the many hours of flight from New. York. I hope to return again.

The house reef offers an incredible opportunity for someone to complete his diving course with perfect views of the reef and the aquatic life. Ditte was such an amazing teacher and a passionate diver , patient and enthusiastic! Food was great and a good vibe in general from everybody.

There is a private bathroom with shower and free toiletries in each unit, along with a hairdryer. Sun moon was a fabulous location not far from Bitung and right on the beach. The accommodation and communal spaces were of exceptional standard as was every meal. The hosts are super friendly and welcoming also great to spend time chatting with. Can’t recommend sunmoon enough and look forward to returning one day.,

Bolilanga Island Resort - Togean Island has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Angkayo. Among the facilities at this property are room service and dry cleaning services, along with free WiFi throughout the property. Staff on site can arrange a shuttle service. What a beautiful private island. We enjoyed our stay here. Rooms are basic but you dont need more luxury on a island like this. The food was amazing!

Situated in Bunaken, 13 km from Manado Harbor, Lekker Gezellig Dive Resort Manado features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. With a restaurant, the 2-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. Guests can make use of a bar. This was a good value place to stay, extremely close to Bunaken where the diving was great. The staff were helpful and friendly with everything we needed. The room was clean and very comfortable.

If you want to be away from city sounds and pollution, way out in the peace of the countryside among farms and mountain views — and if you are a person who enjoys the ruggedness of tent or A-frame cabin camping, then you will love Wawowow. Alvin has built this off-the-grid retreat himself, adding to it each year. He and his staff are caring and helpful. The well laid out grounds are covered in lawns and most if not all tents and cabins have small brick firepits. Alvin can provide the firewood for them. When I was there a number of people sat around these campfires at night singing and playing guitars. No sound amplification is allowed. Some people chose to stay on the grounds for several days. I used it as a jumping off place each morning to tour different parts of the Tomohon area each day., returning each evening.
