Casa Nemo is owned by an Acehnese woman who prioritizes cultivating beautiful experiences and running an ethical, eco-friendly business. The entire resort is beautifully manicured with fruit trees and flowers everywhere. Everything here is done with intention and love. The staff take great pride in their work. Aceh Heritage Village: Right when you walk in, you'll see two beautifully restored historic Acehnese houses featuring hand carved and painted decorations. This is totally unique on the island, and it's a must-see. Sometimes there are events there, so check with the resort to see about the schedule. The restaurant: The restaurant is stunning with an inviting porch that reveals the ocean and the lush landscape. The food is delightful with a mix of Indonesian and Western options. I am gluten free with a sensitive stomach. The restaurant always accommodates my dietary restrictions, and I always feel good after I eat there! If you will be staying awhile, you can even bring your own gluten free flour, and they will prepare something special for you. I love the ayam tangkap (an Acehnese specialty that you can't find many places on the island) and tom yum. The rooms: Every bungalow is done in the traditional Acehnese style with wooden carved decorations. My bungalow had a porch with a hammock which was the perfect place to relax while watching the ocean and listening to the sounds of nature. The bed was comfortable. The shower had hot water and it was easy to control the temperature, which cannot be said of many showers on the island. There was also a fridge and water dispenser in the room including hot water and china cups. The spa: I have had some of the best massages of my life at the spa here. My favorite is the Javanese. Masseuses are expertly trained and accommodating with any issues you may have. Friends of mine have had waxing done with excellent results. The beach: Great for lounging and a gentle swim.

Playgrounds Sabbit Mentawai Surfcamp se nachází v destinaci Pulau Masokut a má zahradu, sdílený lounge a bar. Na místě vám mohou zařídit dopravu na letiště. I was very happy with how close it is to that water and the boats are moored right out front. Food was different every meal, a mix of Spanish meals and Indonesian and also some Italian. Paco was super helpful organising our fast ferry over there and back, the staff were legends too. Would recommend anyone to stay here.

The location is incredible, and Momo is always making sure guests are well taken care of so we can make the most of our stay. The food is delicious, and Gema, Tina, and the entire team are absolutely wonderful! Can’t wait to come back as soon as I can!

Central location close to airport. Few minute walk to Dylan's right. Great food. Motorbikes available for rent. Phil was a great host and showed us the surf spots. The cool and exciting thing about the island is you get a scooter and go find whatever wave you want. Find your own wave!!

La Belle Hollow Trees se nachází v destinaci Katiet a nabízí venkovní bazén, zahradu, terasu a bar. Naprostý ráj na zemi, ideální pro surfaře, ale i na pár pohodových dní na úchvatné pláži. Součástí je super restaurace. Extrémně milý a ochotný personál, rozhodně jsou to lidi, které chceme v budoucnu ještě potkat:) jakýkoliv zádrhel okamžitě řešili - nicméně na tomhle místě vám nic chybět nebude 💜

Grace Wave Resort se nachází v destinaci Hilibotodane a poskytuje venkovní bazén, sdílený lounge, terasu a bar. Staff here are lovely, rooms very clean, crisp aircon and comfortable beds. Hotel building and grounds well maintained, pool table and ping pong, great upper viewing deck for checking the surf. A short walk to the keyhole to paddle out access but when you exit the surf you’re right at the hotel doorstep for a cold beer or juice
