The farmhouse is run by a young Italian couple and has been carefully restored to offer a swimming pool and Tuscan restaurant serving traditional cuisine and a wide range of wines. The estate also contains a charming living room with a fireplace and 3 dining rooms furnished in a country style according to the owners’ creative tastes. Excellent food. Everything felt incredibly fresh, which for me is a huge bonus. The staff was lovely and available by email for any question I had even before arrival. The setting is pastoral—you see green on every side. There’s a horse farm where you can go for a ride. Truly charming. We didn’t try the spa, but my husband had an in-room massage and was very pleased. Very clean. Recommended for anyone looking to escape all the city noise. A car is essential.

The rooms and facilities were excellently maintained, the staff were very personable and hospitable, and the location is ideal being minutes from the beach. There is also an on site tennis club offering sessions with experienced coaches. The courts themselves were well looked after and great to play on. Overall I would recommend Tennis Rocchette Resort to anyone, solo travellers, groups, couples, or families looking for a modern, well-run hotel where customer care an attention to detail are top priority.

At the resort, rooms are equipped with a desk. Complete with a private bathroom fitted with a bidet and free toiletries, all rooms at Boutique Relais Villa Sofia have a flat-screen TV and air conditioning, and some rooms include a balcony. Guest rooms have a wardrobe. Jacuzzi tub was a nice treat. The room looked like the pictures and was one of the largest rooms we'd stayed in our 2 week travels through Italy. It was very comfortable.

We loved everything about Poggio Paradiso! It was clear the entire staff wanted to do everything they could to make our stay perfect. Luigi was a huge help before we arrived, arranging bikes and dinner reservations for us. He even ran to the bike store immediately to exchange my bike for an electric one when we realized how hilly the area is. The food was fantastic (dinner and breakfast). The location is beautiful and convenient for getting to all the nearby cities. The room and bed were huge and well decorated. You don’t need to leave the property if you don’t want to. We enjoyed sitting by the pool in the afternoon and out on the terrace in the early evening. A+ property!!

The staff is very friendly, rooms are spacious, luxurious and clean. For breakfast there is not a big selection, but everything that they serve is 10/10, I am still dreaming about the croissants and house made jam.

We also had dinner at the property and it was very good. I hope I will be able to come back again.
