Our stay at Sankara Hotel & Spa Yakushima was absolutely top class and exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, everything about the experience felt thoughtful, refined, and genuinely warm. The setting is stunning and peaceful, the rooms are beautifully designed and immaculately maintained, and every detail reflects a level of quality and care that is truly world-class. The service deserves special mention! Attentive without being intrusive, sincere, and consistently excellent throughout our stay. Dining was outstanding, with beautifully prepared meals that showcased both quality ingredients and creativity. After full days exploring Yakushima, returning to Sankara felt like coming back to a sanctuary - calm, comfortable, and deeply relaxing. I regret not noting the sommelier’s name, but would love to give a special shout-out for his attentiveness and excellent pairings (alcohol and non-alcohol), thoughtfully tailored for both me and my son. This was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. Highly recommended in every aspect, and we would not hesitate to return.

Petit Resort Native Sea Amami berjarak hanya 2 menit jalan kaki dari Pantai Kurasaki yang asri, dan menawarkan pemandangan laut yang indah dari setiap kamarnya. This is a hotel where I really felt welcome and everything was perfectly organized from A to Z. The reception helped me organizing a rental car and gave me excellent advices where to go snorkelling and to find turtles which I really did. Snorkelling equipment can be rented as well as bicycles. The breakfast and dinner was simply excellent, every day different with fresh and local dishes. Free airport shuttle was very kind. The room I stayed in the first floor had direct access to outside, was really spacious and the big windows with view to the sea were amazing. I think the hotel management is really investing a lot in staff and resources to make it an excellent stay.
