Incredible hospitality, we felt so treated. The team shuttle you around, make sure you're looked after and reserve the best restaurants in the area. The breakfast was really good, it was warm and cosy, and the baths were amazing after a long day skiing. Honestly can thank the guys enough for such a special and fantastic stay.

Great hospitality; Clean and spacious apartment with all necessary amenities included making it exceptionally convenient for guests.

Directly connected to the slopes of Okushiga Kogen Ski Resort and within a 1-minute walk from the Lift 1, Hotel Grand Phenix Okushiga provides a convenient ski-in/ski-out access. It offers guests free Wi-Fi, and ski storage lockers are available right at the entrance. I never experienced such VIP service otherwise in the world. Whole reception teams demonstrated what extraordinary service should be. I arrived late by bus and was welcomed by one receptionist in bus stop. so I did not need to carry my luggage in the snowing road. They even opened the ski rental shop for me after working hour. The next morning, I missed public shuttle bus and they offered to use hotel shuttle bus to drive me over to ski lift in Yakebitaiyama without reservation in advance. I felt that I was living with a lot of friends instead of living in hotel. I was too tired to try the bar at night, and I would like to try it next time. Swimming pool was good with quite warm water. Hot bathing place with best view. Sun rising over snow mountain top. Breakfast was very good with many variations. The dinner I ordered was pork hotpot, and personally I think the starter tasted better and pork meat is okay. I will try something else next time. All in all, the service and room condition are all top.

And the amazing things is we can reach bus stop by small walk. Because the bus stop is infront of the hotel.

We had a great , relaxing family getaway at Nojiri Lake Resort. Ted and his staff were excellent hosts and really made our stay a memorable one. Breakfast was excellent and Ted also prepared a vegetarian dinner upon our request. The Resort offers a beautiful view of the Nojiri Lake with the majestic mountains surrounding it. We would definitely love to come back again, perhaps during the summer.
