Attikulama Tank je 6 km daleko.... It was exceptional. The staff was professional and attentive and made us feel very welcome. The whole resort was clean, spacious and beautifully designed. It's located in a small forest with butterflies, pheasants, a variety of wild birds and cute chickens. You can take a walk, play badminton, go to the nearby lake or visit the temples in anuradhapura or mihintale - it's very close. The hosts can arrange tours as well - we went to Anuradhapura with a guide and it was very fun and a fair price. Also the food: try the Sri Lankan breakfast it's delicious! We loved the tree house - it was so relaxing when it was rainy. They even offered room service. :) long story short - a must stay. Ps: please note that there is nature around. It's a tree house in a jungle-like forest. There are occasionally frogs and other visitors on your terrace. We loved it though.

Levona Garden Resort se nachází v Habaraně, 1,2 km od jezera Habarana a 15 km od lesního kláštera Ritigala. Na místě je restaurace. Levona Garden is a great place to stay. With its pool, lush garden and exceptional hosts, we loved it. It is a family run place and they are very helpful and kind and did everything to make us feel comfortable. Our room is clean and nice. There is a blue light mosquito repellent machine in our room. The breakfast was really good with all kinds of Sri Lankan style crepes, hoppers...We also had dinner there, it is also delicious. Host/mom is a great cook. They helped us book activities and gave us directions to travel around. To visit Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa, Anuradhapura, it is good base. Thank you lots for your hospitality and hope to visit Levona again.

The peaceful surroundings, combined with the resort’s attention to detail and exceptional service, made my stay truly unforgettable. The natural beauty of Habarana feels like an Amazonian escape—serene, refreshing, and full of charm. Whether it’s relaxing by the lush greenery, enjoying their delicious meals, or simply soaking in the tranquility, every moment at Ambasewana Resort is a memory to cherish. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a getaway that combines comfort, nature, and heartfelt hospitality. I’ll definitely be coming back—and next time, it’ll be for much longer!

It's funky in a good way with a beautiful pool, places to relax, and delicious food. The location was really great as well as we were in the middle of the jungle listening to the birds all and feeling the peace of nature.
