The real plus were the people. Dulshan & his brother Yashmika were such fantastic hosts. Organising trips & travel, keeping us refreshed with Lion Beer &just being so helpful. Always with a smile & a laugh. Just a mention to their great dog Rexxie. She filled the abscence of our own hound. Overall such a great experience. If you coming to visit the great sites then stay here you wont be disappointed.

The room was immaculately clean with loads of towels and toiletries etc. The aircon was icy cold and view out to the street was just perfect for us as we are very nosey. We opted to have breakfast LKR 1500 and it was lovely with lots of local dishes and fresh fruit. The owners explained all the options for visiting the temples including TukTuk tour LKR4500 (5hrs). We opted to rent bikes from them for LKR 1000 and rode around all the temples. It is very flat and once off the Main Street the roads are quiet. We had great fun with the owners children who you see at breakfast etc, they are very friendly and love to chat. At the end of our stay they kindly dropped us off at the train station for free which was very kind.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights in the Pearl of The Jungle private tree house on the property. Sameera and his staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating. We enjoyed 2 dinners and breakfast each morning- the food was absolutely wonderful… would highly recommend for this alone. Our treehouse was quiet and extremely comfortable. The open air bathroom was nice and clean. We would live at the Mutu village if we could!
