The beautiful and peaceful house is located in the midst of tea plantations. We got to wake up to fresh air and mist in the morning. We were glad to spend 3 nights in the king suite, just doing nothing. The breakfast and dinner were so delicious and generous. The staff service was excellent and treated us like royalty. We had mint tea and milk tea in the afternoons. They arranged a tuktuk to take me to the waterfalls and Nuwara Eliya attractions which were about 1 hr away. Riding through the tea plantations, mountains and waterfalls was one of the best rides in Sri Lanka. Just amazing! Highly recommend this place to stay if you are in Hatton.

The food was absolutely delicious. each meal thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. The room was cozy, beautifully designed, and spotless, making it the ideal space to relax and unwind. The location by the lake is simply serene, peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature. It was the perfect setting to disconnect and recharge. Special kudos to our butler Krishan, who went above and beyond to make our stay seamless and memorable. His attention to detail and kind service made a real difference. Highly recommended for anyone looking to slow down and enjoy some true well-being time.

The views were great, the staff was extremely cooperative and made sure to go the extra mile like arranging a poolside BBQ for us. The rooms were aesthetically pleasing and cleaned well. Breakfast, tea time snacks, and dinner was delicious and presented beautifully each time. The food was not very expensive either; it was good value for money.

Do not assume this is a luxury hotel. A lot is missing for what many people expect. HOWEVER if you like to experience and see Sri Lanka in its absolutely glorious untouched and natural state then this is possibly the only place you should visit. Despite giving it a very average score for facilities and luxuries the staff, the experience and the location make up for it in spades. Come here before Sri Lanka is subjected to the mass tourism that’s in the pipeline. The food is also authentic, plentiful and extremely tasty.

The property is on the Main Badulla road, but a bit away from town, about 5mins by car, which was okay for us as it helped us wind down by sunset, and the property became quite cozy with no external sounds or bright lights.
