And at 5:30pm we got to see baby turtle hatching at the beach just 3 mins away, what a welcome! The breakfast was so delicious too! And we also could rent a scooter there and book a kayak tour around the lake near there, really awesome experience if you are on the adventourus side i would say.☺️

Aruni and the Blue Ocean resort team were amazing from start to finish. We booked the ocean view room and it was so stunning that we decided to stay for a month. During that month, we got help from Aruni with booking lagoon tours, setting up a trip to both the safari parks that were nearby and a lot of other things. Whenever we needed tuktuks she would go out of her way to arrange it for us. One time I had to take a sick stray dog to the vet and she arranged everything with the vet and tuktuk to take me there, she even fed him and now he is there often and it was very sweet and she really did not have to do that. I cannot recommend Blue Ocean enough to anyone thinking about staying here. The beach is quiet and huge, there is so much wildlife nearby and there are a couple of restaurants nearby. Whenever we wanted to eat at the resort we would ask her in advance for some fish, lobsters and shrimp. On our last day they even had bbq which was very tasty. Thank you Blue Ocean team. We will definitely be back! And we already miss the two (now three haha) dogs Brownie, Emma and Cheese ball :D

The lady-owner gives the best hospitality in entire Sri Lanka. She makes amazing home made food, with passion and love. She explains a lot about food, ingredients, animals, birds and area around. Room was looking new and clean with good AC and extremely comfortable fresh new beds. She took care of us like a mother. We used the bicycles for free, that was great option to get to the beach. We got huge, good quality breakfast with lots of fruits, eggs, pancakes, curd and honning. The hotel is located out from the city, quiet, peaceful and a huge empty beautiful beach, very relaxing. We spotted a huge turtle at the evening, just by sitting on the beach, without guides etc. The lady-owner helped us to arrange tuktuk trip which her husband is driving for reasonable money. Aswell Safari in Udawalawe with her good friend Jeep driver in National Park. We really recommend to stay here if you looking for lovely people around you, quiet, relaxing time, local food, beach for yourself and clean accommodation. Over all expectations, thank you ❤️

The location is amazing, and the staff anticipate your every need. We were traveling with a toddler which is quite difficult, but the staff was on top of everything making sure there was a baby cot, car seat in transportation, extra smoothie for the baby in the morning, float ies for him in the pool, the list can go ok indefinitely.

We spent two days there, walking in forest areas, going on bush walks, and exploring rocky areas with many important and educational scenarios. We collected many things during these walks, always encountering new and wonderful sights like bird cages on trees, crocodiles in lakes, and monkeys jumping from tree to tree. We felt that there wasn't enough time for walking because the days went by so quickly. It was very interesting, which is why we felt that way. They scheduled all our activities interestingly during our stay, managing everything well. We also visited a chena, where we saw farmers and village people. Climbing to a treehouse offered an amazing view. So, Yakaduru gave us a good and great experience of a safari journey and village tour. And we must mention the meals – they were very delicious, and we loved their hospitality and friendly assistance. So, it was a great visit.
