Such a unique beautiful calming location. The family who run the hideaway are all attentive, generous and go above and beyond to make sure you have a memorable stay. I was able to swim in the river each day and eat delicious home cooked meals 3 times a day. I had not planned to visit the rainforest or this area of Sri Lanka and I ended up pivoting to find some solace for my final three nights and I'm so glad I did. Thank you to the property owners for looking after me. I'd love to stay again when I return to Sri Lanka.

And the pool? Simply a dreamy oasis. At their restaurant, each dish is a culinary masterpiece, with flavors so authentic, you can taste the richness of every spice. A little tip: if you prefer milder flavors, do request them to tone down the spices. My stay was made even more memorable by the trips we took. The Galla Fort exudes historical charm, the tea trip was an enlightening journey into the world of tea-making, and the Kollaghan Lake was a visual feast with its picturesque islands, lively birds, playful monkeys, and yes, we even spotted a crocodile! It was a very well designed, full equipped, large and clean room. The bathroom was vey clean. The garden and the sea view was spectacular. The owner and the stuff were very friendly and gave us lots of tips about Mirissa. The breakfast was definitely special and very tasteful.

The rooms are **clean, comfortable, and well-equipped** with a **powerful AC and a ceiling fan** that worked perfectly. The **bed was so soft**—we fell asleep instantly every night! The **on-site restaurant** serves **delicious food and great coffee**—we enjoyed every meal. We were **extremely satisfied** with our stay and will **definitely come back**!
