If I could afford it I'd just stay there for the whole 10 days we spent on the coast. It's perfect for beginner surfers as it's right on the Weligama beach. We had a free room upgrade from Ocean View to Ocean Vista and we were so grateful to be pampered. I wish we had tried the Big Fish restaurant, it looked fantastic but we had reservations with friends outside the hotel. The service was exceptional and I'd recommend 100% to anyone looking for a stay in Weligamma.

The owner Sahara was super friendly, good English speaking and helps with absolutely everything! Moreover the location is super unique! The food there is also very delicious.

Featuring a private bathroom with a hairdryer, rooms at the resort also feature free WiFi, while selected rooms also feature a balcony. Guest rooms feature a safety deposit box. It was a very well designed, full equipped, large and clean room. The bathroom was vey clean. The garden and the sea view was spectacular. The owner and the stuff were very friendly and gave us lots of tips about Mirissa. The breakfast was definitely special and very tasteful.

Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, Beach only very short walk away.

Situated in the Mirissa Beach district in Mirissa, 500 metres from Whale Watching Mirissa, Resort of Happiness features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi throughout the property and views of garden. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. This was probably the best place to stay in the entire Srí Lanka. The room was quite big with a balcony and stunning sunset views and garden. I really appreciate multiple sockets as in some other places I have encountered only one socket, which was really bad to charge multiple electronic devices. The location is perfect, it's close to the beach and town center. The hospitality of the owner was amazing. She brought me 2 bottles of water and a welcome drink. I will miss those breakfasts so much. I recommend staying in this place so bad that I wish to come back.

The access to the beach was great with some shacks outside selling drinks with chairs right on the water. The staff was friendly and chef Pradeep offered to make my wife an excellent egg curry which wasn't on the menu.

The Beach Club with private beach access made our stay even more special, giving us the perfect balance of privacy and relaxation by the sea. The gastronomy was simply outstanding—every breakfast, lunch, and dinner was of the highest quality, comparable to a world-class five-fork restaurant. We are especially grateful to our host, Salman, who was always attentive and ensured every detail of our stay was perfect. Our heartfelt thanks also go to the entire service team, particularly Lahiru, whose warm and impeccable service made us feel at home. The hotel also organized a safari to Yala National Park, taking care of everything from the comfortable transport from the hotel to the park, to arranging our own private jeep and guide once inside. Our guide, Damitha, impressed us with his excellent explanations and deep knowledge of the park, making the experience even more enriching. To make the day even more special, we enjoyed a spectacular lunch at Wild Coast Tented Lodge, another property from the Resplendent group—an experience that exceeded all expectations. We had a magical honeymoon on the southern coast of Sri Lanka, and without a doubt, we will return next year to celebrate our anniversary at this paradise.
