Nestled amongst the natural and lush greenery of the rainforests near the border between Malaysia and Brunei, Mulu Marriott Resort is located on Melinau Paku River in Miri. The resort boasts a large fitness centre, pool and a sauna. It is 20 minutes from the Mulu Airport by car. The staff were so nice. The bedroom was large, quiet, and very comfortable. Biggest breakfast selection I've ever seen, and food in general was top quality. Regular shuttle buses to the park/airport and return pickup. Very comfortable lounges for chilling out when not on tours.

Built originally as a private home for an Iban family, the sprawling property is now reborn as an intimate retreat with 13 rooms, 2 suites and 13 villas. It offers an infinity pool facing the South China Sea, Pool Bar, fully equipped Fitness Centre and free Wi-Fi access in its public areas. The staff very friendly and helpful; they make it an even more exceptional place. Resort, rooms and pool area amazing. Highly recommended, location in Santubong amazing.

Permai Rainforest Resort is an eco-friendly resort at the foot of Mount Santubong, a 5-minute walk from Sarawak Cultural Village. The resort offers a café and barbecue facilities.

Each cabin at Permai Resort is equipped with a fridge and tea/coffee maker. En suite bathrooms come with hot shower facilities. Very peaceful and relaxing, I enjoyed sitting on the balcony of my tree house on the edge of the rainforest, watching and listening to the sea lapping on the shore a few metres away below. There were also local wild monkeys that fed in the treetops around the cabins and tree houses and throughout the resort, both proboscis and silver monkeys were present. Staff were all great and friendly, full marks. The Cultural Village was also right next door.

Value: reasonable, especially if your main purpose is to play golf at Eastwood. The location makes it very convenient for golfers. Overall: A practical choice for those coming to play golf at Eastwood, with decent value for money. Just note that the dampness and slight odor in the room could be improved. Otherwise, everything else was fine.

The view of from the room is exceptional (mine was seaview )

Boasting a private beach and outdoor swimming pools, Damai Beach Resort offers pampering stay in Santubong. Guests enjoy jungle or sea view from the room. For guests who drive, free parking is provided. We had lovely time in Damai Beach Resort. Since the receptioninst made a mistake and put into the wrong category of accomodation, we have seen both. Invest into the premium category, you will not regret it. That part of the hotel is a paradise. The standart category is ok but it doesnt even get half way to the experience you get on the top of the hill. There are great pools in the resort and you practically have the beach for yourself.
