This resort offers luxury accommodation, great views and is ideally positioned for exploring the Mackenzie Basin and Southern Alps. It is a 10-minute walk from the Church of the Good Shepherd. apartment is new and able to park the vehicle right in front. however, no hand soap at the kitchen area and the frying pan is a bit old. nice view from the balcony and the rooms

Select Braemar Lodge & Spa is a luxurious lodge nestled in the foothills of the Southern Alps, close to the village of Hanmer Springs.

All suites include an open-plan sleeping and living area with LCD TV, gas fire and super-king size beds. Guests can pamper themselves in the marble bathroom with double spa bath and double shower. All suites have a private balcony, many with a hot tub. This was one of the best value for money stays in nz. The room was amazing. Breakfast was great. The view just the best.
