As soon as we entered our room, we were pleasantly surprised to find it beautifully decorated, courtesy of the thoughtful staff at The Funny Lion. The romantic ambiance, complete with rose petals and delicate touches, created an atmosphere of pure bliss. It was evident that the staff had taken great care to make our honeymoon truly special. During our stay, I encountered a minor inconvenience in the form of insect bites, and to my surprise, Feb went above and beyond to find me an insect bite lotion. Her kindness and dedication to guest satisfaction were truly commendable, and it made a world of difference in ensuring our comfort. What truly sets The Funny Lion apart is its unwavering commitment to sustainability. The building and amenities have been thoughtfully designed with eco-friendly principles in mind, making it a perfect choice for conscious travelers. From the use of renewable energy sources to the implementation of water-saving measures, every aspect of the hotel's operations showcases a genuine dedication to preserving the natural beauty of El Nido. I must also mention the exceptional attentiveness of the resort manager, whose presence during our stay left a lasting impression. It was evident that the manager truly cared about the well-being and satisfaction of each guest.

The Funny Lion - Coron boasts of an outdoor swimming pool, an open air bath featuring natural views, and dining options on-site, this 4-star resort is 1.5 km from Mount Tapyas and 6.5 km from Kayangan... The staffs are why we enjoyed so much of this stay. The hotel is nice and clean has everything we need, but the staffs are more than helpful. We had so much requests like going to hospital, pharmacy, joining tours and having a meeting room to do calls. They do all they can to help us and being super friendly. We really enjoyed our stay.

Dosplaya was the excellent choice for the quiet, relaxed, cozy, down-to-earth island paradise holiday that I was craving. Its simplicity is its beauty - large hut made of natural, local materials, small menu with fresh home-made dishes, shared but clean bathrooms and toilets, renewable energy source, and the stillness of nature. The fantastic bonuses are the two glorious beaches, the warm and personalized service from William (owner) and Grace (manager), the spectacular view of the night sky, and the well-preserved corals meters from the beach. WiFi was strong and fast enough at the restaurant for a video call. I adored my hut - tastefully designed with just enough furniture to keep it spacious.

Top for the money. Beautiful well designed territory, friendly staff, unexpectedly tasty restaurant like in the best Manila restaurants. I also took a diving session for beginners and everything was so clear, supportive and fascinating. Also, I was with a dog and the hotel is pet-friendly. 100% recommended
