The treat every night with the turndown service was also a lovely addition. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again at The Funny Lion.

WiFi is available for free throughout the property. This was our favorite place we stayed in the Philippines. The staff was really lovely. The hotel had so many lovely little extras which set it apart, like fresh fruit drinks in the fridge, turndown service, towels to borrow during daily outings, etc. The pools were great, the spa treatment we had was top-notch, the food in the restaurant was great (I especially want to thank Ian, the F&B Head, who checked in on us every day, and extended great hospitality) and the cocktails at the bar were also excellent. We stayed for a week, and would definitely stay here again if we come back to Coron!

At the resort, the rooms include a desk. At Dosplaya Ecocamp each room is fitted with a seating area. This place is exceptional. The whole resort is only open a year and no expense was spared in building it. Its ON the beach, there is lots of corals down the beach just take a stroll. Everything is quality from the structures of the rooms to the mattresses and the sheets. They also have a chilled water dispenser in the restaurant so you can help yourself to cold/hot water any time you need. We slept really well here as the evening gets a gentle breeze on this side of the island and they don't turn off the power in the night like the other resorts on the island so the fans stay on all night. The owners are Italian couple and the food in the restaurant is the best on the island. Menu changes daily depending on fresh produce. Everything is done well and properly here it will be my first option for future visits
