Resorts in Nature Reserve Ria Formosa

Property was spacious and easy to get to shop and to the beach/restaurants by foot or shuttle. Good pool and bbq area etc, great for families like us. It’s a beautiful setting but unless you are super in to golf, not sure you need to pay the premium price to be in Val de lobo resort.

Facilities are good and villas are well equipped. Food was good and vast majority of staff were really friendly and helpful. Location is pretty good and as "central" as you can get for golf etc.. Pools are better than other resorts nearby, but possibly as no villas have their own pool here. Overall a very nice place.

The apartment was clean and brilliantly equipped, perfect for a family holiday. The hosts also provided access to simple things like cooking ingredients (spices, condiments, etc.), mosquito vaporisers (we brought our own but this was an important touch to us) and so on. Although we were familiar with the area, the welcome pack provided excellent information about the locality and the resort facilities. The location was quiet but within easy travel of shops, restaurants and, especially, the airport.

Beautiful property, comfortable luxury rooms. The staff were so friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was so tasty and a honesty bar which was great for pre dinner drinks

The whole resort was sp clean tidy and presentable

We stayed here for 4 nights, the staff are brilliant, and while it’s a resort mainly for German groups we felt well looked after as a British couple. The food offerings were fantastic at breakfast and dinner, we found lunch to not be great but this was just our taste. The drinks selection is great, all inclusive wines were all lovely and the cocktails are vast. The facilities are great and the golf courses on site are well worth the visit.

Beautiful location and facilities. The apartment, the grounds , the swimming pool are top class and provide for a very nice family resort feel. Location is also great, with several beaches within just a few mins drive or even walking distance
