My husband and I stayed 3 nights at Samed Garden Resort and would highly reccomend staying here! We stayed in a 2nd story room, the room was much bigger than we expected with a beautiful view of the garden that felt like we were in a tree house. The room was emaculately clean. Some reviews say that the accomodation is "far away" from the rest of the town.. but we hired a scooter for the time we were here (we hired one for 280 baht a day and was a great way to see the rest of the island too) and it was only a 6 minute scooter ride to the main strip - I would not call this far away :) The owner is the loveliest person you could meet who went above and beyond to help us with any requests or questions we had. Everything was so nice, same location as Viking resort and couldn’t recommend a better place to go in Koh samed. Beach is not great though with a lot of underwater stones but there are a couple more beaches 5 mins walk around.
