Located on the foothills of the Southern Drakensberg, Lake Naverone Holiday Cottages is set on large estate with 2 lakes and 7 km of river frontage. It offers picturesque stone cottages with magnificent views. The accommodation over the lake was mesmerising, especially the sunsets. Even though there were power cuts (frequently), the place had gas stove and gas hot wet systems which was perfect. The walks we amazing.

There's lots of activities for all ages, food was tops, the rooms were actually bigger that expected coz we had two separate rooms... Staff is friendly..

Meals can be enjoyed in the restaurant, on the terrace or in the privacy of guests’ rooms. There are also braai barbecue facilities available. Superb location, amazing views. Very good breakfast. Short drive to the Royal Natal park (~30 minutes). My son loved fishing at the lake (catch & release).
