Coot Club heeft een buitenzwembad, een tuin, een gedeelde lounge en een terras in Stanford. The Coot Club is an outstanding property, the decor and furnishings are beautiful. The Staff are helpful and accommodating. The meals were incredible, fresh, wholesome and imaginative, in the best way possible. We thoroughly enjoyed our Boat House Lodge, it was cosy, comfortable and secluded.

If you’re a nature lover, it’s the perfect spot. There’s a great restaurant with a fixed price of €25 per person, but you also have the option to barbecue outside your bungalow. I recommend stocking up on groceries beforehand, as the nearest supermarket is about an hour away. The property offers both indoor and outdoor bathrooms. I tried the outdoor shower, and I highly recommend it for the experience! Even though the property is located within a reserve, we were pleasantly surprised by how few insects bothered us during the barbecue. However, it’s worth noting that, even of the bungalows are a very nice and well manteined, being surrounded by nature, it’s possible for a few insects to make their way inside the little house.

De Hoop Collection - Equipped Cottages ligt in De Hoop Nature Reserve en biedt een bar. Beautiful location in the heart of De Hoop Nature Reserve. Nature lovers will love it. Cape eland, Cape mountain zebras, bontebok, Cape grysbok, grey rehbok are unmistakable. Knysna woodpecker is around the cottages.... The beach at Koppie Allen is very nice (great dolphins patrol) The local restaurant was delicious.

The location is unbeatable and the activities and beauty of the area are unrivaled. It is an incredible place with so many activities and a diversity that few other places can offer.

De Hoop Collection - Opstal Houses is gelegen in De Hoop Nature Reserve en heeft een bar en een barbecue. This was a lovely place to visit. The restaurant was excellent, with very nice staff and delicious food. Our three bedroom house was spacious and spotlessly clean. Enjoyed seeing the animals roving the grounds, saw many whales from the dunes.

Loved the rural, quiet scenery with massive dunes, river outlook, excellent food, great service and the family of Mountain Zebras (and Ostriches) near our room. Exceptional restaurant menu.
