Brilliant location and able to park right outside. The flat was spacious, very clean and well-equipped. The beds were comfortable and the showers were good. We liked the 1950s vibe, especially the kitchen pantry cupboard, though would have preferred a soft sofa! All in all, a great flat in a great location, we’ll be back.

Excellent location, right in the heart of Ambleside. Parking on site, with clear instructions to reach and key was readily accessible in key safe. Comfortable beds, towels provided, with an ensuite bathroom and separate bathroom which was a bonus as this was not obvious in the listing when we booked!

Location is excellent in the middle of the town, but single glazing and a pub across the road with music on until 1am does not make for a quiet night sleep!

The location is excellent with the Holborn Tube station and a couple of grocery shops nearly at the doorstep. It is a 5 minute walk from LSE CKK and in proximity to Lincoln’s Inn Fields.

It was truly very comfortable space wise and well lit. The only issue is that the Tavern downstairs is noisy till quite late (early hours of the morning) most nights.

The welcome and service were great as was the food in the pub. Rooms were lovely, clean and comfortable. Breakfast and drinks provision were generous.

We struggled with coffee machines, great to have fresh coffee but a bit complicated. No fresh coffee with buffet breakfast was much missed .

It took 4 different rooms over 2 different floors for us to be given a clean room and even then we were put in a smaller room. They tried to say all the rooms were the same size but the bathroom in the first room was clearly larger than the bathrooms in the other 3 rooms the latter three rooms all being the exact same layout. The room that was booked at same time as the one I stayed in was fine though the disabled bathroom seat did have some rust on the hinges and there was toothpaste stains on the floor at the sink. The other bad thing about this hotel is there's only 2 lifts in the entire place and it barely fits a wheelchair, it broke down the last night of our stay and the staff had to use the stair lift for my friend, sadly the lads just weren't strong enough and did accidently drop him whilst in it.
