Although not advertised on their website, there are some sites suggesting that the hotel has a gym. It doesn’t. The double bed was 2 single beds pushed together and very uncomfortable. Finally, I had meal on my first night and whilst the quality of the food was good, it wouldn’t have filled a child. Embarrassing.

I'd seen previous reviews about the building being warm and it was however there was a fan in the room and I wouldn't let it put me off staying.

Included breakfast was excellent. We ate dinner at the hotel one night and it was very good as well. Very old building in a very small village, and well maintained.

Internet did not work well in the room, and the thick walls must have blocked data usage in the room as well. However, the hotel had no issue with us sitting in the bar or restaurant using the wifi there.

You have to ask for toiletries. I agree with the environmental aspect of not wasting toiletries however the better solution is to have soap dispensers in the showers like many accommodation options. Parking is extra, parking on the street is restricted. You have to move your car strictly at the time of check out even though check in is quite a few hours later. I think a better solution could be found that allows people to go for lunch post check out, then collect their car.
