The Hotel and the staff is amazing. You enter the Hotel and everybody is just lovely and goes far and beyond to make your stay perfect. The breakfast is good (some things are missing, like more choice of juice, more cheese options and also more meat options, but these are "luxury" problems). The staff is very polite and kind. We got a gift in our room for our anniversary - just super kind and amazing! We definitely recommand the Dilly!!!!

We had an cleanliness issue, but the hotel did sort it out with just an amazing solution! So there is nothing negative to say.

kirklands has kept its atmosphere of an old charm Hotel with modern updates to keep its originality carefully intact . The staff are such amazing teamwork thank you all . This is also the owners home and are both very hands on to their guests with so much dedication The meals were exceptional and so well presented. There were so many choices both in breakfast and dinner menus . We enjoyed them very much and you will not go hungry in Kirklands .

Absolutely nothing

Decor, furnishings and spacious bedroom of very high standard. Relaxing after a long drive in pouring rain. BUT

Quite the worst fish dish I have ever had and expensive. Small piece of hake about the size of a Weetabix and just as crisp and smothered in a gloop of diced vegetables called lobster sauce. Just awful so left half finished. Breakfast service took an hour and a half. First half hour produced a cup of coffee and a pot of tea despite pre-odering the night before!

It’s in a good location and it’s cheap.

Rooms are tiny and windowless, which is fine for their price, but also terribly ventilated. My room was intolerably hot and felt a bit like being in a furnace. Also, while going to the shower, the lock on my door died and I was locked out with only a towel on. Staff were helpful in fixing this, but it’s pretty unacceptable that it happened in the first place. Overall, I’d try and avoid. It might seem worth it to save money, but if you’re doing it to save cash you may as well go to a hostel, it’ll be even cheaper and you’ll probably get a better nights sleep.

The bedding and towels were very clean.

The shower was pathetic, only a trickle of water and mould in the corners of the shower tray. There were cobwebs all around the room and the carpets were heavily stained. There was no heating on in the room and had to go to bed early to keep warm.
