Pismo Beach, California

The little extras that the hotel offers for the kids and for the beach is fab. On arrival they were given a bucket and spade, you could also get beach chairs and body boards for the beach which was a lovely touch. The room was a great size. The Location overlooking the beach was fantastic and the bar area was lovely.

This place is incredibly clean and I love that every access to the elevators and parking garage requires a key. It makes you feel very secure. Free parking is a major plus!

It is situated right on the main street. People love to speed down the road and it creates a lot of noise. It was hard to sleep being a light sleeper. If you are a heavy sleeper, this won't be an issue.

The location is excellent, right in beautiful Georgetown. The bed, mattress, and bedding were of outstanding quality and provided a very comfortable stay.

The kitchen floor was a bit sticky, but it seemed like a one-time oversight since the rest of the place was spotless. The kitchen furniture was a bit dated, but it didn’t affect our stay at all. We didn’t mind, though others might find it important.

Breakfast had eggs (the powdered kind cooked and warm), meat, biscuits and gravy, cereal, apples, oranges, coffee, some juices but no orange juice.

Other people's hair in the bathroom and who knows where else. Air conditioner leaks. Toilet wasnt clogged, but stuff would come back up into the bowl unless flushed several times. Toilet paper that just pushed stuff around. Extremely scratch towels. Could feel the springs in the bed. Oh, and let's not forget the roaches.

The pool area was great for the kids and the outside bar area and fire pits were lovely. The food was also very good.

The room was very small and although clean the decor is a little dated. It was also disappointing that as guests we were unable to get a drink from the bar beyond 10pm.

The fact that hot breakfast was only for 2 people even though we were 4. We had paid for breakfast included, so this should be made clearer and not just on the small print on a breakfast voucher. Ended up having to pay extra just because 2 of us had a very small portion of scrambled eggs....

They canceled me booking because when I was in flight they couldn’t take money from my credit card. But they could try to do it earlier… I came in the hotel at 23 and nobody was in the reception. The security was very rude and in booking it was possible to book once again but the security told me that nobody would give me the keys… so I had to go to the other hotel for one night. Also the air condition is too loud.
