There is a beautiful pool. The hotel has a lovely art deco atrium. The cafe next door serves excellent meals and has friendly service.

The rooms have been refurbished in art deco style but it’s a bit poorly finished and scruffy in places. The bed was very saggy and not so comfortable because of that. The service at the front desk was a bit perfunctory when we arrived.

I don't understand how this hotel gets such high reviews: my experience was negative. Perhaps I was just unlucky with the room assignment? My room, a king studio, was on the third floor, just above the hotel entrance and overlooking a very busy and noisy street. The entire floor smelled of fried food, and the lighting in the common areas and elevators was practically nonexistent. The room was dirty, and the floor was sticky. The shower had mold stains and was smelly, and the sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable, the sliding door of the bathroom was broken. In my opinion, this is a hotel to avoid; there are much better options around NY.

The location obviously, very quiet place. The impressive space of the suite with all the amenities you need.

It lacked furnitures like mirrors. Holding drawer with scotch tape not very serious for the price we paid. Only one AC system in a room while there two.

Close to the amenities, clean and tidy. Lovely polite young gentleman checked us in.

No safe to keep valuables in whilst out. Broken fridge which was buzzing all night. Breakfast was minimal, all staff apart from the young gentleman checking us in appeared not to want to be there. No staff around for check out in the morning.

Not suitable for family with children. Beds are double and too small to accommodate an adult and a child. Room allocated to is was clisterfobic. Bathroom was damaged and very old , needs upgrade for a 4-star hotel standard. The only modern area is the lobby but fir a comfortable stay lobby is secondary. Breakfast served in times not suitable for family with kids who travel on tourism (7-9). They call it Crab & Go! No facilities for proper breakfast, warm breakfast... grab & go snacks offered at the lobby with not enough area to accoodating guests to seat. No room service.. Bathroom blocked twice for two days.. complete inconvenience Noisy roo. If you are facing the road..no proper insulation. No parking facility at the hotel.
