Absolutely everything! We weren't expecting much for the last night of our USA road trip, before we flew home from Miami, but it turned out to be our favourite overnight stay. 5 Pelican was like brand new, spotlessly clean with every facility you could think of. As a group of 2 couples, the restrooms just across the way, as well as our private bathroom, were very convenient for us too. The outlook and views all around were spectacular, especially for the boats and wildlife. The swimming pool was lovely and a lovely surprise was that the kayaks, paddle boards and bicycles were also freely at our disposal. The lady in the office was so lovely, welcoming and helpful. Stores and eateries were a short drive away and a shout out to JJ's Doghouse, a locals bar that we had a great couple of hours in!

The location is fantastic… about a 15 min drive from Disneyworld, about 30 mins (including traffic on the I4) to Universal. The pool was great - we went in August and wondered if we’d need it heated, we definitely didn’t. Kitchen was well stocked, there were items for our little one which saved us space in our suitcase such as a highchair and we even discovered a pushchair in the garage. The company who let out the property were great and when lightning struck nearby and put the internet out, they were very helpful. We will definitely be back and we’re so sad that we’re home! The room sizes were great, loved having a walk in wardrobe and en suite in the main bedroom. So useful to have a washing machine and tumble dryer - coming home without any washing to do is a game changer. We loved it.

Some could say the decor is a little dated but none of us minded, we were living our best life at Disney. One of the sun loungers and patio chairs were broken on arrival but to be fair, we didn’t raise it with the company and if we had, I’m sure they would have sorted it.

Having issues with stand by flights we booked very last minute a double queen bed for 2 adults and 2 kids. Good value for money, free shuttle bringing us to the nearby location from Miami airport, comfortable, nice staff, very nice pool with stunning view on landing aircrafts and with lots of bath towels available, ideal for a short stay waiting for a flight to keep kids busy, fairly nice breakfast included in our Booking.com rate. All in all perfect deal, bravo.

The fire alarm that run crazy at 0900 am, and the breakfast charged while included and not indicated in the arrival form, but it was refunded eventually.

Nice and clean, plenty of parking and a 5 minute walk to the beach. All staff were friendly and helpful. There were chairs and umbrellas left behind for people to use, which saved us time & money, really helpful! The beds were super comfy, best nights sleep!

Unfriendly staff, and the room was too expensive for what we got. I asked (and paid) for a top floor room with 6th avenue view and got 5th floor, and a poor view of the avenue.

My room was ground floor, giving directly onto a busy street, so it was noise. I asked to change Rooms but was told nothing else was available. The towels were very ragged, some with holes. The cleaners did Not make up the room. I complained but no compensation was given.

At first, we were greeted by a cleaning lady. She was rude, yelling at me that she wasn't interested in our room. She wouldn't tell us where to go. I don't greet a mean, old woman.
