At first glance it doesn't really look like anything special. In fact, you might think it looks disheveled and sketchy which was my first impression as well. But when you got into the room, all of the important parts like the bed and the bathroom were clean in the areas that you expect it to be clean. The sheets and pillows smell like fresh laundry and bleach and the toilet and shower where you're sitting and standing are acceptable and clean. For what you pay in cost you get an amazing value

The air conditioning really didn't keep the room cold and the walls, light switches, lamps, television, refrigerator, door and thermostat on the wall were really gross and grody especially under ultraviolet light. But since I'm not licking the light switches or walls or any of the lamps, it's not a make or break issue. Yeah, it was kind of annoying that the television was kind of wonky smashed and broken and when you opened up the refrigerator door it kind of kept falling off the hinges. But that's not why you go and stay at a motel. You go to stay at a motel for sleep in a bed and the bad toilet and shower were absolutely acceptable

Checkin was super slow (it took 15 minutes for prepaid reservation without queue). Room had literally no window (loft suite) :-/

Check in could have been better. We were mid way through checking in and another guest completely interrupted, no apology from them either. The staff member was serving us and it would have been more professional to have finished serving us first.
