I was unsure of what to expect from El noa noa but I was not disappointed . It is a fabulous little complex of 7 suites, 5 mins drive from the main town of Palm Springs. Our suite was lovely, big with a spa bath. Lots of space and the bed was very comfortable. The outside area was clean and tidy, lovely seating and loungers, the pool was fabulous and yes, the big blow up duck was there. I had one grumble....see below 👇

There were 3 day beds in the outside area. I assumed the one next to our room was for our use. We got comfy but were then told it was reserved for someone else. There were 3 couples staying and none of the daybeds were used at all, they all had reserved on them. When I enquired about reserving one I was told it was $75 a day. What a rip off and a waste. Why are they there, no-one is going to pay to use them. Maybe reduce to $20 and you'll make a little on them. Also having paid a fair amount for the stay I think guests should be able to use them if they're not book. Bad business sense.

The beds in dorms are comfy. Cosy space and nice toilet and shower to begin with. Had a good time chatting with fellow travellers because we all traveled and stayed here for the same reason.

Wasn't able to use wifi at all for the first day and a half, regardless of following connecting instructions. Then it automatically became usable.

Very nice place to stay in! I visited Carmel first time but not last! Huge apartment with beautiful view from the window. I really enjoyed the time in this hotel.

Cleanliness would be something of an issue, the linen and bed was clean, so was the toilet but rest of the room needed a good clean.

Facilities inadequate for the number of guests. Long queues for everything: check-in, coffee, food, drinks. No facilities for washing dishes. Tent felt grubby, bedding was inadequate for the overnight temperature. The whole place needs a complete overhaul.

Terrible nights sleep on both nights of stay. Continuous banging of gate leading to workers compound. Started at about 5.00am and then persistent for rest of night. It was so bad that our daughter and baby did not stay for second night as they did not get any sleep on first night. Such a shame because this completely ruined our stay. This must have been reported before by anyone else staying in bungalow 102. I did report it but girl on reception just shrugged.

The room was not serviced, and beverages were not restocked during our stay. Our checkout was delayed because the lift was out of service - not good when your room is on the 12th floor. Overpriced and impersonal.

The bathroom - the shower curtain doesn’t cover the shower so anyone who walks in can see you naked. As you can’t close the main door anyone can walk in.
